As a first step to prepare our teriyaki sauce, put the soy sauce, vinegar and honey in a saucepan. Then light the fire to medium heat and mix everything well.

Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the starch and water until the starch has dissolved completely. Then add the starch and water to the mixture, leaving everything on the stove and let it thicken until the sauce becomes thick and shiny.

After about 5 minutes of cooking, the teriyaki sauce will be ready to be served.

This sauce is used for the preparation of donburi (rice with grilled fish and vegetables) or to glaze dishes such as chicken, salmon.

The sauce is also perfect for dressing vegetables in the final stage of cooking.
