As a first step in preparing our delicious ginger-flavored sauce, we peel the apples. Let’s divide them, therefore, into four wedges and remove the seeds. Finally, let’s cook them with wine for about a quarter of an hour.

When cooked, mash the apples with the tines of a fork; add the jam, hazelnuts, or walnuts and mix everything well, leaving the sauce to cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove the ginger-scented sauce from the heat and add the butter, lemon juice and finally the chopped ginger, mix and let it cool before serving.
