First of all, to prepare the date sauce, stone and chop the dates together with the garlic and chilli pepper.

Then add the ginger to the mince and sprinkle everything with a little vinegar. Let’s take a saucepan where we will put the remaining part of the vinegar and the sugar. Stirring, over moderate heat, let the sugar melt until it forms a syrup.

Then add the other ingredients, season with salt and cook everything over low heat until the mixture is fairly thick. Our date sauce is now ready to be served.
