Let’s start preparing these delicious berries in sauce by gently washing the berries; then let’s dry them and put them on a towel in the refrigerator.

Let’s now prepare the sauce. We wash the strawberries and raspberries and pass them through a fine grid mill; we collect the puree in a saucepan; Then add the sugar and lemon juice and bring them to the boil slowly. Take the cornstarch and dilute it in 2 – 3 tablespoons of cold water, add it to the berry puree and cook for 2 – 3 minutes to make it thicken.

At this point, take our berries from the refrigerator and place them in a bowl, preferably transparent, season with the cold sauce, mix carefully and gently before letting them rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.

Our wild berries in sauce are ready. Let’s taste them and, if necessary, add some icing sugar. We serve garnishing as desired with mint leaves and whipped cream.
