Description

Bardolino is a DOC wine that is produced on the east shore of Lake Garda in the province of Verona. The mild climate, the sun exposure, the variety of soils typical of these areas, the skill and passion of the producers make Bardolino a pleasant and appreciated wine all over the world.

It is an excellent table wine that goes very well with soups, pasta dishes, fried food, poultry and snails. Furthermore, Bardolino goes splendidly with very old cheeses, with certain blue cheeses and with savory cheeses in general.

Its color is light ruby ​​red tending to garnet with aging; the bouquet is fragrant, the taste is dry, savory, slightly bitter, harmonious, sometimes slightly sparkling.

Also famous is the Bardolino rosé or Chiaretto with a fruity aroma reminiscent of strawberries, berries and grapefruit and a fresh and intriguing taste, excellent in summer with fish and shellfish dishes.

The Chiaretto is also made sparkling. The main vines from which the grapes for Bardolino are obtained are: Corvina Veronese, Molinara, Rondinella. It is recommended to taste it at a temperature of 16-18 ° C.
